4/4 Looks like it might rain Wednesday, so I will have to pick up some snap on fenders and a rain suit by then.

4/4, but the rain is comming....scary for a desert dweller...
Just bought a used commuter (Bridgstone XO-1), rear rack and panniers (no more annoying backpack!) and fenders, so I won't melt in the rain

3/4 so far. Might actually get some rain or snow this week, a first for all winter. Driest winter on record. I've almost forgotten what rain looks like. Almost 65 degrees today. Makes commuting easy, that's for sure.

5 out of 5 for me so far will top 100 miles on return leg tonight. Been cold here last few days but nothing too bad. As ever looking forward to return journey this evening.

Good to see everyone digging in and doing so well - stay safe

5/5 (43/43 YTD)
Typical for this year 14*F morning, high 30's expected this afternoon.
However, tomorrow the temp rises, freezing rain overnight, light rain tomorrow, then constant rain/thunderstorms Thursday through Monday at least. Should be interesting.

I unfortunately moved less than a mile from my work. This means I can walk there in about 5 minutes with my dog. Commuting has always been one of my favorite things to do & now I'm walkin?!?!

I'll still browse the forum to give helping advice whenever I can.

5/5 for me. Almost didn't make it due to a slow leak in my fron tire, but realized it would take longer to drive. Tomorrow is going to be the rough day, since it is suppsed to rain. I don't remember the last time I _saw_ rain.

5/5 so far. Was out late last night but still on the bike today (though it was a slower ride in). Have to make an errand at lunch to the post office. Temps should be in the 60s for the ride home.

6/6 I found the most amazing goatheads last night when I went to fix my flat. One had made it all the way through my Mr. Tuffy liner, the other had gone through both layers on liner where they overlap. What do I move to now to help prevent flats?

7/7 for March - 147 miles so far, 800 plus for year to date, no possible commutes missed.

Weather remains typically changeable around here, some cold, some wind, some rain, a little frost/ice and snow - over the last couple of weeks. But given we're fast apporaching mid-March we've got to be winning now?

Exhibited a few cold symptoms yesterday but seemed to have got on top of it today, and thats the first serious sniffling I'v done since mid December how are the rest of you fairing in this respect?

Keep safe everyone.

I've ridden every day this month with the exception of last Tuesday's "slick" day when I played hookey. Otherwise, I've had several "all ride weeks" since the end of January and, more importantly, haven't driven in once this year. The weather this morning was a balmy 43 degrees but the ride was a little uncomfortable as I felt dead and bloated from gorging myself on Gen. Tso's chicken last night-all the more reason it was important to ride today.

4/7

I'm going out drinking after work tonight and tomorrow, so I will get some more mileage on for the month. Too bad the extra effort will dissolve into the bottom of a pint glass.

8/8 MTD, 46/46 YTD WOO HOO!

56*F last night, I rode home in bike shorts. Almost set a record, at least with studded tires on.
Had a 18 MPH tailwind this morning. Unfortunately it'll probably stay the same and be a headwind tonight.

7/8 Up way too late last night dancing with a girl I've had a huge crush on for years and too many errands to run at lunch today. Oh well, it was worth it. ;D

7/7 so far. 5/5 this week which is a first for me Had an awesome ride home last night. Took a different route and flew home with a tailwind. Avereaged over 19mph for my 8 mile ride. Windy again today so it will be a fun ride home again. Damn I really love riding

Still 2/7 31/40. I had Friday off, but I went out and did the IM loop once. (42 miles).
Today I took off the studs and set-up both bikes for a little nicer weather. Tomorrow I'll attempt a March Century. Weather should be okay (high 30s to mid 40s), but may be a bit windy. Next week Friday I leave for Florida for a 370 mile week of cycling.

So I may be doing poorly on the commuting challenge, but I'm getting more miles on the bike!

Well, tomorrow breaks my perfect record for the year. I have training plus some other work which means 12-14 hour days all this week. My wife just let me know she would appreciate it if I drove, since I'll be gone 6AM-7:30PM even without the extra 40 minutes for commuting.
Ah well, I can make the time up in the gym I guess. We'll see if I can get a "perfect except that one week" year.

7/9 Supposed to be a wind storm this afternoon that would be directly against me on my way home. As pretty as it is right now I am really regretting driving in this morning.
