I have 8 days of commuting so far. That's 241.1 miles. And I did a fun ride of 20.46 on the 10th. So I have a total of 261.56 miles so far.

My wife had to work so I got Parent Patrol yesterday. So much for the century attempt. I did get the munchkin in the bike trailer for a quick 5 mile ride. Today was a bit wet and foggy with potential for thuderstorms tonight. I finally saw another cyclist in the locker room today too. I guess spring is in the air.

9/9 so far in March. I have a short work week. Vacation on Thursday and Friday for MARCH MADNESS! Did not ride over the weekend....SNOW in Vegas , but it is back to being nice out again. Saw a homeless guy yaking this morning.. Just ordered new brake pads and a smaller pannier for my new (to me) commuter. Enough random thoughts, is it vacation yet?

9 for 10....
winter has returned in wpg!
-20c with a -30c windchill this morning...
last week we had some +temps and the roads dried up quickly.... so now we have relatively clear pavement with a few icy spots....
keeping the studs on a little longer...

I'm in as of 3/13, I just moved and was unable to commute before. I'm loving it and won't miss a day.

9/10 for me. Broke down and drove in yesterday due to some rain in the morning and high winds the rest of the day. Got some errands done after work though so all wasn't lost.

Ah well, I can make the time up in the gym I guess. We'll see if I can get a "perfect except that one week" year.

Fooey, I had a perfect year going before then. Oh well, I'll count it as special circumstances and not count it. I was really only going to work for a class they paid for which was held onsite; I didn't actually do any work while there, so I can rationalize that :-)

I took 3 days off (rain and bike repairs) and I am getting sick.....I rode today and hopefully being back on the bike will help me kick it. On a positive note my commuter build is getting closer to completion...can't wait to try it out.

Vacation was great. 403 miles last week. This morning felt pretty easy. Tonight its supposed to rain, so I brought my rain gear to work. I'm assuming that means it wont rain, but I can deal with that. I'm ready to get back on the bandwagon after a poor showing in March.

I had training at work for a week a couple of weeks ago, which I had to drive for due to timing. I was quite irritated since to that point I had a perfect year going.
Getting off the bike for a week made me weak and I felt a cold coming by the weekend. By the following Weds, it was bad enough that I had to take the rest of the week off. I still found myself with a bad enough sore throat that I drove Monday and Tuesday rather than ride in the cold.
But I'm FINALLY back in the saddle. Throat's still a little sore, but to HELL if I'm driving on a day when it's supposed to be in the 60s!!! Plus it's a half day today because of parent-teacher conferences, so I get to ride to work and back without so much of the work in between to mess up the ride.
I hope I don't have to drive again anytime soon.

18/21 Just over 280 miles for the month and I should hit 300 if I ride tomorrow, which I plan on. This has been my best month since starting commuting about a year ago

14.75/22 Big wind storm stopped me yesterday on my way home, and it looks like it is going to come back this evening. Overall I'm pretty happy for my first month of keeping track.

Took the studs off, slicks back on last night. DAMN that's like riding on a stick of butter on a hot griddle. SMOOTH.
With the studs off though, expect ice storms in the midwest as soon as this 60 degree weather breaks.
