For the ones that have lost actual arm/hand strength, to know that whatever they're doing needs more torque. A torque wrench was the only way my dad could convince his mechanic uncle with arthritis that he was no longer able to apply adequate torque for certain tasks. (Yes, we have a great admiration for them in my family. ) I know it seems silly, but sometimes these little things can make a big difference.
