2007 Commuter Mileage Chart

I much appreciated the 2006 commuter mileage chart someone posted last year. I didn't see a new version, so I edited last years and posted it here.

Now if we can only get onto your PC, we'd be all set.

You have to upload the Excel document via FTP to some website that you manage or have access to. There may be some free upload sites out there that I don't know of off the top of my head. Regardless, the address needs to be an https:// ... .xls link of some sort.

I'd love a copy actually since I haven't tracked my commuter mileage/days in the past and I want to this year. Hope you get it working.

Try posting it on Google Spreadsheets. You'll probably have to re-enter the data manually. Also, I don't know what the security concerns of the site are -- maybe the site posts your email address or something?? But it's free and very easy to use.

Yikes. I don't have access to anything that isn't secured.

If anyone does and would like to post it, I'm happy to email you the file.

Wow that is way cool! Much better than trying to do the math in my head...I rode 4 times this week and there were 3 different mileages...

I religiously noted my mileage for last year. I was thinking about doing the same for this year, but I think I'll take a break and just ride and not worry about my daily totals. It is a useful tool especially when you make up charts and do day-of-the-week and weekly totals.

I never thougt I'd stick with this but I have. I'm not that detailed of a guy (my wife does the checkbook). But, data like this helps me set goals and reinforce what I've done. I was happy with my riding last year and I hope to do better still. I'm confident in this.

I probably wouldn't bother if I took many different routes to work. But I don't--one is 6.5 mi and the other 4.5, so it's a no brainer to enter. I don't log my around town riding, as I don't always break a sweat.

This is great! I've been tracking my commuting miles for a few months using a poorly created spreadsheet. This is much nicer. I've uploaded it to EditGrid.com as a template so that others can keep online versions. Editgrid is similar to google spreadsheets but seems to always be a few steps ahead of google.
