Don't leave things behind

The company I work for used to pride itself on the honesty of its employees. When I started here almost seven years ago, I probably could have left a ten dollar bill on my desk at night and it would still be there the next morning.

This is no more.

Last night, I forgot one of my shirts in the closet that was also designated as a changeroom. I sort of left it there on purpose since it was a nice warm evening and I figured that I'd just get it tomorrow. WRONG. The shirt was gone this morning. I've asked the maintenance guys and they didn't get any shirts handed over to them. Basically in less than the 12 hours I wasn't in the building a shirt is gone.

Lesson learned. Now I need to make up for the $25 shirt somehow. Hmm maybe I'll work harder riiiiight.

Speaks well for the 'honesty' of the fine employees here.

It was a commute shirt, and no no stench was present. I wore it overtop another shirt that morning so no sweat was actually on the shirt. But comon, it's a freaking rag to anyone else.... maybe they threw it out.

Either way, I'm not a happy camper and I will make up my time and money lost.

<< pissed off

I could put a camera there, since I actually just bought one that can be set to take a picture every couple of seconds or so, at the lowest resolution my 1gb card would hold almost 4000 pictures but there's a couple things wrong with the plan:
1. I'm not allowed to bring cameras into the building
2. I'd like to own the camera for more than a few weeks before somebody steals it. With a great track record so far, whoever is wearing my shirt would also be sporting a new Canon (it's a something 750, actually still made in Japan )

Prediction: We'll see another post by 1ply tomorrow about how someone stole both his shirt AND his camera.
