cycling shoe question
Hi all, this is my first post in the commuting forum, and am hoping you guys can help me out.
I am looking for a new set of shoes, and I was hoping to find something really walkable for commuting. Does anyone have any suggestions? The idea is that I want something I can wear all day if need be instead of having to change shoes like I do now.

The Specialized Taho.
Super light, super comfy, and they don`t stick out too much.

If you like sandals, the lake cycling sandals are very comfortable. They're pretty much all I wear. Took them canoeing/camping/hiking over spring break and my feet were very happy. I'm a big sandal wearer though, so when I think about shoes, sandals are the first thing that come to mind.

I use Shimano SH-MT20s. I've had them a little over a year, about 4,000 miles on them, and quite a bit of walking.

I use Shimano M021s. I have sneakers at work, but the cycling shoes are so comfortable that sometimes I've forgotten I was wearing them and noticed I wasn't wearing my sneakers halfway through the day. I really only change because the Shimanos are very dirty most of the time, not because they're not comfortable.

I'm wearing a pair from adidas that look pretty much like a pair of sneakers.

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

Thanks for the help. I might try and order some of the specialized. I currently wear their road and mountain shoes, so I know their shoes fit me well.

With cleats for eggbeaters, the treads of the shoe are long enough to prevent
most floor-scraping.

I use the cheap end of Shimano's SPD (mountain biking) shoes.
I find them comfortable enough to be in them all day long, and I get a lot of mileage out of them.
