raleigh C30?

raleigh C30?

I picked up a raleigh c30 the seat was date coded 92 This bike has set around alot and not been road much a lbs owner put tires and a chain on it then the guys decided to sell it because He doesn't ride it, I saw the bike when it came in the tires had good tread but where age cracking It needs some surface rust cleaned up but is very ridable as purchased what did I buy? Did I get taken at $45 (I like the bike so I realy didn't get hurt)

It sounds like you did ok if all working and you are riding already. You may find you want to change things as you go and now you will have money to do so since you didnt spend big up front. I have a C500 which I think is a new version of a C50 - so, similar to yours.

By the way this bike has a chromoly steel label/sticker on it
