This will be all over the news but mostly focused on the celebrity JAM (Robert Novak) who hits a pedestrian in the crosswalk and drives away. Bike Commuter witness catches the corvette and holds him until the police arrive!
Great day for our side!

Regarding a previous incident where Novak screamed obscenities at a pedestrian:
Novak explained to the paper: "He was crossing on the red light. I really hate jaywalkers. I despise them. Since I don't run the country, all I can do is yell at 'em. The other option is to run 'em over, but as a compassionate conservative, I would never do that."
Uh-huh. He should have added "but if I do run one over in the future, I am outta there! My compassion goes only so far."

How do you have someone roll up onto your windshield and then claim not to have noticed that you hit them?

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

Hope they gave him a breathalyser.

"...bicyclist was David Bono, a partner at Harkins Cunningham, who was on his usual bike commute..."
HC aren't ambulance chasers?

...I guess not. Seems to be mostly corporate stuff.

Al Gore's "Carbon footprint" is probably twice as big as
any one of those 3 conservatives.
"Do as I say,not as I do" liberals are the worst.

You'd understand if you've been to K street where it happened. You don't speed to anywhere. Why some moron would bother owning a Corvette and driving it in downtown Wash DC is beyond me. I couldn't max out the speed on my mountain bike riding over there. Hell, on M street, I couldn't even *run* in the street because the cars were slowing me down.

And I've been on K street many times; I worked at L and 19th until last summer.
