Ever hear of the cyclists who have been run over by the bus while taking their bike off the rack at their destination? I am still trying to figure that out.

River City, Kentucky, if I read the TARC website correctly. It looks like they got trouble. Right there in River City.

Of course I'm self important. I'm a writer.

Nor is it the first time I've annoyed a young woman trying to draw attention to herself as an 'advocate.'

I don't even know what to say about that. At first I was sort of mad about it because of the tax dollars involved. Then I got to thinking it my actually stick in peoples heads.

Now did you notice the the related video's of David Byrne (Talking heads) designing bike racks?

I'm thinking thats pretty cool and makes an art piece out of a bike rack.

Not to out myself as an idiot, but when I moved to Austin to go to school I would see the bike racks in use on the bus, but I was always too embarrassed to ask how it worked. I eventually walked up while somebody else was about to put theirs on and watched.

/Needs a cheesy video AND an after-school special

And I still would have no idea how to make sure my bike didn't fall off at the first stop and then get run over.

I have this sudden unexplainable urge to ride a bus?

What city was that in?
TARC: Transit Authority of River City, AKA Louisville, Kentucky. In TARC's defense, it is posted in several different places on the bus that the driver is not responsible for the loading and unloading of bikes on the bus bike rack. That being said, it only takes a few seconds to help with the process (as stated above).

Informative and catchy, and far less embarrassing than this one.

Just be glad it wasn't done by a Singaporean government agency
