This is the result of my homemade camo paint job using rattle cans and finishing up with three coats of clear coat.
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4033/...2cfb612d_b.jpg I painted the rack and water bottle cages to match the frame. Looks good I think. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1282/...dee70c8e_b.jpg One final look. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1288/...04d60795_b.jpg I didn't paint over the decals because I wanted to keep them. |

My '09 Norco Kokanee , does a dirty vehicle make the bike look cleaner :P My fenders+slicks+saddle bag are coming in the mail, but i think my bike is coming along pretty well. Edit: I took off the u-lock up front, for obvious reasons. One bump and it already fell off. |
I really like this Windsor

Hi,
New to these forums. Here is my "soulless" Internet commuter bike :) 25 mile+ RT commute, 60% on limestone and gravel trails and 40% road and 50+ mile joy rides. Good so far after a few months. Only things I have changed so far is rack, my favorite Sella Italia seat, seat clamp and post, and Ritchie speedmax 700x32 tires. This replaced my mountain bike and it is great on the trial, very good on the road, and great in the rain and mud (just cleaned after a 25 mile muddy ride in the rain. Going to keep my eye out for a good, used road bike. Cheers! Gene http://hawkman.smugmug.com/Other/Stu...2_TGcqw-X3.jpg |

~3 years old. Been hit and she's still kicking.
This isn't my usual commute. Breaking in the brooks for a Gunnar Crosshairs build. From the south side of Chicago, you can see the Sears Tower in the background. Attachment 156033 |

As much as I love the way those look. What purpose does it serve? It's not a folder, it's not a mountain or BMX bike, it's not a road bike or a hybrid. They're cool as crap, but I just don't see why Cannondale built those in the first place.
How does it ride? And other than a commuter, how do you view the bike? -Gene- |

Most mini velos are perfectly normal bicycles with the exception of the small wheels. You can get it up small staircases / elevators with ease, have more space in your apartment, and then go enjoy a nice riding bicycle later. I rather like how it rides, and just wrote a review here if you are interested in reading it: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?448381-Cannondale-Hooligan-review&p=10993220&viewfull=1#post10993220 |
Cool, thanks.

In my office after the 8 mile ride. K2 Diamondback Edgewood LX. I got the small frame. I wanted a medium and they didn't have it in the store so I decided I would take the small. The Large was too much for my inseam. The small actually is a great fit for me it just looks like a girls bike and I get a few questions on that. Whoever decided a man's bike have the high bar was missing his family jewels or was a woman who did it out of spite. The women's bike frame is so much friendler to the groin. |
Here's my new Sputnik. After its maiden voyage to work and back. (13 miles one way)

I think the bike I ride daily is also a small and I guess what you a consider a woman's. No complaints and seems to fit me well also.. have a 32 inseam. And I agree about the higher bar.
My inseam is 29 I am 5'4" and very stocky I weigh in at 190 and I am trying to get back to 170 where I can fit 32" waist jeans again. I am very lean with ab muscles starting to show when I weigh 170. My father who is the same height wears the same size pants I do at 170 and he is 145. I injured myself running last summer and put on 20 lbs and I gave up running my normal 6 miles and decided to cycle to burn my weight back down. |
My Redline. I've not bothered to put the rear rack on and have been fine with a backpack so far.
700x30 cross tires roll well enough while handling the ruts and bumps. http://www.bikeforums.net/attachment...6&d=1277175776 |
