It works. Thanks. Really nice picture.
I used to tow my daughters in a trailer. I kept waiting for them to get bored, but they never did. |

New bike for my short, 10km a day, commuting. Wanted something classy, easy to ride in office attire while keeping me clean in all conditions. Also, wanted something North American or European made. The Pashley Roadster Sovereign 26 fit the bill. So far so good, it's slow as hell, but once you get it's 50+ pounds wound up it carries speed nicely. Ride is smooth as butter and the position is very relaxing coming from bent up road and XC racing bikes.

but i agree with the loving the dawes i recently bought a lighting dlx i love it You can get this chain watcher: http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/184...in-Watcher.htm It keeps the chain from dropping off the inner side of the crankset. Looks like this on the bike: http://cdn.mos.bikeradar.com/images/...ch1-399-75.jpg |

Not at all, make sure your chain is at the correct length. Could also be your crank's chainline not agreeing with the gear changes.

Not the most practical commuter (only takes 23's) but I love zipping around the city on this thing.
These were assembled in Canada with Ishiwata tubing. I've heard some bad things about Biopace, but it suits me just fine.. |
ive come to enjoy biopace it doesnt seem to tense up your thigh muscles as much and make it easier to walk around when you get to where your going
|
I love springtime because I can commute on this... :D

Just wanted to show you guys my new ride, I know it doesn't compare to what some of you have, but since my daily commute is only around 4 miles, I figure this would do the job?!
Living in Japan does present a few problems...one of them is finding the right size bike:( Sure you have imports, but they tend to cost an arm and a leg! I went to my LBS, rode on a few and this was the most comfortable for me and for around 330us$ I couldn't pass it up...and yes it is made in China:lol: Anyway here are the pics... |
