dude, who are you trying to kid? That fork with the celeste paint job screams out Bianchi. There's no other bike with that type of color.

My newly rebuilt 1986 Schwinn Passage. See link in my sig for lots more pics and information on the build.
I'll be starting commuting later this week as long as temps stay below 100 for the ride home. I have a trunk, but may have to search ebay for a cheap pannier for one side. Time will tell.

Actually the 1x1 has the perfect geometry for the height. There is no compromise in the seat tube angle. You're a smart girl, alright.

My new Kona Smoke:

My friend took one look and said it looks like an army courier motorcycle.
Additions are a kickstand and water bottle cage; haven't transferred anything over from my old bike yet.

. It's pretty piggy into the wind, but it climbs like a scalded ape, and beats most cars across the stoplight. The riding position is not only comfortable but gives me a full view of traffic and my surroundings.

I've been commuting on this thing for the last year:

It's an L.L. Bean-branded steel frame hybrid, manufactured in China. It's known on the street as the "Acadia Multi-Terrain." Sounds tough, right? The Acadia features legendary Shimano Altus C-20 components and grip shifters (I'm pretty sure Lance LeMond was running the Altus package the first time he won the French Open). I traded a $20 bill for this bicycle at a garage sale last summer.
Then I started looking through catalogs and before long:
Panaracer CTX 700x37C tires
Zefal Cab fenders
Nitto North Road bars
Nashbar LDT rear rack
Nashbar grocery bag panniers
Cateye EL200.
Planet Bike BRT-1
AirZound horn
Planet Bike Protege 9.0 computer
I'm going to retire this bike in a couple weeks and start commuting on my old Peugeot UE8. I'll post a photo of that disaster when it's ready to roll.

I see I'm not the only one to ditch the stock Milano saddle for an Avatar.
