dc, you whole bike looks great, and your "home-made" fenders look fantastic! You should write a whole post about how you did it! (Or if you already posted, drop me a link)

Bikes: Cimarrons 1835, 0836, 1767, 3517, 0768, 3408, a LHT, and a couple others
Finished my new steed this morning, and took it out for a beautiful 31 mile test ride with a couple of friends. I was crushed a few weeks ago when I spotted a crack on my other bikes top tube; I needed to find a frame that I could transfer all my parts over to, and the Surly fit the bill perfectly. So far, so good. I just need to re-install my front light, and run the wire to the rear and it'll be complete. Here's to lots of great miles!

It's an Air Zound (a rechargeable air horn)

Early Xmas
Long awaited wheel upgrade for my Cross Check came today (replacing a 7-year-old stock wheelset). I'm even excited about my new chain and lube. How big of a geek can I be?

They have been great so far,I got them with the lx hubs. I solely commute and haul my son so I went with the 36 spokes as well. I think they are a bit heavier than my old wheels but it doesn't really bother me, I just stopped getting trophies on Strava for my commute.

Hi, pretty new here.
First, lot of awesome bikes in this thread ! Congratz to all. Here my Marin Larkspur 1996 freshly bought. Did a bit of change like handbar and tyres. Most parts are genuine.
Cheers from France

Looks really nice. At first I thought it might be Titanium, but looking it up online, apparently Aluminum. I'm surprised they've got such thin tubes, usually Aluminum needs to be larger.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter
I'll bet 3 beers to one that it's painted steel.

You sir (as always), are correct. I didn't search thoroughly enough. In my defense, Bikepedia lists the 1996 Marin Larkspur as having "Titanium Color"

Are those Soma Noah's Arc bars? Thinking about those on my next one. How do you like them?
