Can anyone recommend bike locker brands?
Last summer we had 9 bike commuters, and probably will have more than that this year. Since parking 'em in hallways probably violates fire codes, I've suggested that the company give up a parking space for a fully enclosed bike lockers. The space in question is almost 2x the length of a normal spot and could probably squeeze in lot of storage.
Can anyone recommend good bike lockers? Having suggested it, it's up to me to provide some more information to keep the idea going forward.

Well, I haven't used any, so I can't recommend any, but at the National Bike Summit earlier this month, CycleSafe was showing off their bike lockers. The website is at https://www.cyclesafe.com/

The contact name would be Susan S. Hartger, shartger@cyclesafe.com
Vice President
947 Forest Hill Ave. SE, Suite C
Grand Rapids, MI 49546

The locker I rent at the train station looks just like those PROPark lockers in the link. It works great.
I have often wondered if there would be some push to get rid of the enclosed lockers for post-9/11 security reasons. Luckily I am unaware of anything like that happening locally. I see that CycleSafe makes a version with windows to maybe alleviate some of the local authority's security concerns.

I've installed several of the Model # 302 lockers from American Bicycle Security Company (www.ameribike.com) and have been very pleased with their service and their product. Our price has been just under $1,200 per 2-bike locker.

I like the Cycle-safe lockers. I parked in one at the train station and left everything on my bikes without worry. Take careful measurements of your spot though since they may take up only a space but you need some room to access them on both sides and not ding up any autos.
We had the solid ones not the ones with View-Thru. Having a view-thru door might ease securities mind if they were worried about what was parked in there but they can't see what is locked in peoples trunks so hopefully you can keep your bikes privacy during the day.
Oh fancy they have a double tier option now if ceiling height would allow.
V-Rex/Recumbent Comment-
I parked my Larger Bike-E in one of those cycle-safe bike lockers for a while. I needed to put a quick release on the riser/stem so I could twist the handlebars perpendicular to the front wheel and put it in front forward. With the wide seat back you can't back in a recumbent like you do a upright bike. If you have tilt bars and the cables are long enough you might be able to do a 180 and fold them towards the seat? Or the v-rex might be short enough to fit in without a problem. I didn't have my Large Giro 26 at the time but it is just so huge I'm not sure it would fit, and a Stratus or X-Stream I'd think wouldn't have a chance.

I found a company called bikeparking.com.
Dero was also showing some of their lockers at the National Bike Summit
Massbike.org has some good links to different manufacturers as well.

I also purchased two model 302's from American Bicycle Security Company. They have good customer service, even honored a 5 month old quote due to a mistake when building managers changed. They recommend 5 feet in front of the doors according to the instructions, so one standard car spot is not wide enough if you orient them so that the doors are on the side. But I would think that 4 (possibly 5?) would fit in two adjacent car spots, giving you 8 to 10 bike lockers for the space of two cars. There are also vertical units, pie shaped units, you can probably maximize any space you have with the choices. I have not seen any that are stackable, and I wouldn't WANT to lift my bike into an upper unit, but I suppose two tiers could be done since I get my bike on top of my SUV by myself.

For two units (four bike storage, each bike its own door and compartment), My cost was around $3600 delivered to my place of employment's loading dock on two pallets. My employer donated the concrete pad and the labor to install them. I bought the ones that came with the t handle lock, other locking options exist.
You can get cheaper lockers by a few hundred dollars, but then they are reinforced plastic. I am satisfied with the product from ABSC. I suspect CACycling's lower cost was because the company was located closer, less shipping charges.

Thanks everyone! I'll be checking out all these links. I suspect the plastic enclosures would be more than good enough for our area and the lower cost is a plus.

I actually planned on getting the plastic ones, then noticed that the building manager had ordered the ABSC ones. I don't know if he chose ABSC because of the fireproof rating of reinforced fiberglass versus plastic, or if the stack of three choices I gave them had gotten re-arranged and he just chose what was on top. I work for a not-for-profit organization with a charitable arm, so I didn't mind shelling out a little extra while charitable donations are still tax deductible.

Wanted to bring this thread back, I'm going to buy lockers for my apartment building for my tenants and am looking for brand specific reviews. My fantasy is to find an article in a bike magazine that compares the leading brands. I want to make sure I buy something that is quality.
