Black helmet with a Planet Bike Superflash on the back and a Dinotte 600 lumen light on top. Hard to miss ^
|
I bought a bunch of 3M reflective stickers and stuck them all over my commuter helmet. I also have a headlight on there, and before next winter (i.e. nighttime commuting) I'm planning to mount a taillight on there, too.

I'm still trying to figure out how a hi vis head would help me when I have a decent saddle to bar drop and spend a fair amount of time in the drops. It would seem to me adding reflectivity to other parts of the bike is more appropriate. Then again with the amount of lighting I am running I feel safe as is.

My helmet is the cheapist thing I own for biking. I shelled out Y300 ($3) for a yellow Pieceofjunk, but it's yellow.

Lazer Urbanize n' Light with built-in front and rear lights.

I've a bright yellow Bell Citi that comes factory fitted with reflective tape.
|
In colder weather, I use an Illuminite helmet cover.
|
wear a red helmet instead

Solas tape, Princeton Tec EOS on the front and PB Superflash on the back. On flash mode the EOS 1watt lamp will make reflective signs a block away light up. You can set it to shine above cars heads so that with the right tilt it will shine in the side view mirror of cars as you approach and pass them on the right.

More helmets need to come with some glowback paint or tape.
I use a yellow helmet for visibility, with a Superflash on the back and two Fenix lights up top. |
