The Specialized SWorks helmet has a plastic piece that goes completely around the inside of the helmet that might keep the helmet resting on the plastic ring more than on the top of your head. It also has more and bigger vents for less sweat.

However, it's really expensive and I haven't tried it. I keep checking my local bike shop to see if it's gone on sale yet. :-)

Yes, I have a solution: Don't wear a helmet.

Seriously, I solved the problem with a ponytail and a clip to hold my bangs down. (Though I still refuse to wear a helmet... Please Helmet Nazis, get off my back! Thanks.)

Bikes: Can't remember the name...I painted over it.

Since not wearing one isn't an option, try short hair. Feels better anyways!

I also vote for using a comb or a brush. I don't have as much hair as I used to, but I freshen up in the men's room and brush my hair...

I guess a crew cut or shaving my dome would work, but that's not my style... and we all know, it's all about style, right?

I tore up an old Hawaiian shirt and made a bandanna. Tied it in the back and I had a bit of a pony tail out behind my helmet. Got to work this morning and it was soaked. I think I would look better in a dark one - you know - close to hair color.

I'm fine in the winter when I wear a touque under my helmet, but it's too warm for that now. Is there a helmet out there that has nicer padding which prevents this? (btw - not wearing a helmet is not an option!)

Thanks!
This will sound odd, but I often find that if I wash, dry and style my hair BEFORE my ride into work, it remains fairly presentable. However, if I shower, dry and then ride in without adding gel or product, my triple-hawk is more pronounced. No idea why.

Bikes: Surly. 4 of them.

I have a shower at the office. Fixes the problem neatly.

I don't have that problem with my hair, but it's long and tied back in a pony tail. It does get flattened, but I just run a comb through it and it looks good again.
