Updated through yesterday. Only 6 commutes in January, but from Feb 1st : new job ! and back to 100% bike commuting.
Aiming for 5-6000 miles this year.

If I were to pass CCrew on this list, I think I'd scream something like "Holy impossibilities, Batman!" Then my alarm clock would go off.

I did actually commute again today. First one in February. I had been on pace for 3,000 miles just commuting (not a big deal to the upper echelons among us, but still a mark of pride for me), but all this snow has knocked me off that pace. At least I'm riding again, and with the forecast is for temps in the 40s every day and steadily rising ove the next couple weeks, I think that I'm finally back to regular commuting. Thank dog!

Thanks! So does that mean you haven't taken the new bike out yet? The waiting must be torture.

Nope, haven't ridden it, and yeah, it's freaking killing me!. Most I've done is go in the garage and look at it

Just got my new Sturmey Archer 3 Speed hub/wheel that can accommodate a studded tire in the rear, so now I can hopefully start putting this hiatus in commuting by bike behind me!

I normally wouldn't update my mileage for such a trifle amount, but I finally got commuting again the last three days of this week after working out an alternate route to avoid impassible snows and unplowed MUPs. It feels no small feat, and I'm super psyched to be commuting again after two and a half weeks of not being able to commute thanks to the weather. Back on track!

No trifling amount is too small for me! In fact, since my commute is only 10 miles round trip the long way...it's ALL a trifling amount.

In other news, I was having so much fun on my bike this morning I was singing the spiderman theme song while pumping along at 23mph. Bike = Joy.
