First Commute of the year, first ride on new bike

Well, the weather and situations have finally aligned to allow me to ride to work today. It was a little cool, but not horrible once I got going.

I really like my new Cervelo (pcked it up before Thanksgiving, and have not gotten to ride it due to surgery, weather, travel, etc).

Glorious, glorious.

Congratulations on the new bike. I know what it's like to pick up a new bike and not be able to ride it for a variety of reasons. I bought my LHT in late November or early December of 08 and didn't get a chance to ride it until about Christmas of that year. At first it felt like a waste of a purchase, but once you start riding those feelings go away quickly.

Yeah, it looked sad hanging on the wall. I even took it on one of my trips, but did not get to ride.

It is a standard Cervelo RS, Ultegra SL. I do not have any potraits of it yet...
Hopefully can get some on my group ride this weekend.

hahaha, I am in Dallas and started my first commute of the year on Thursday as well. Hopefully I won't be moving my car much the rest of the year. It is just about the right temp, I felt horrible while not riding the past few months (about end of November) but it was just too cold, and dallas doesn't stay cold long enough to invest in cold weather gear.

Leg or knee warmers, arm warmers and maybe a convertable jacket.
I also have a couple of long sleeve jerseys.
