Bikes: Some bikes. Hell, they're all the same, ain't they?
At least it looks better than one guy's clip-on aerobars I saw one day. I wish I had a pic; their tips were chest-level, and the guy was sitting almost straight upright, holding the bar ends like they were an airplane yoke. I have no idea what he was thinking or who told him that it was okay.

Anyway, I think the aerobars-up position is pretty common when you put aerobars on a road bike and don't make any concessions on fit that would bring them closer to you. The extra hand positions are nice, but it looks a little goofy.

I've seen aero bars pointed up on commuter bikes with a headlight on the pointy end.

It was a day I had to take the kid to the ranch to clean the goats. so I have to drive.
I do commute about two days a week on average by bike.

There's a MUP rider around here with a classic 10-speed; his drop bars are: a.)reversed; b.) bar tips pointed STRAIGHT up; and c.) what can only be a section of conduit, bent to attach to each bar tip, and heavily wrapped in duct tape, as high as a set of stingray ape-hangers. He rides absolutely upright.
I've almost hit him 2x on a near-blind corner, because he can barely use the brakes, and DOESN'T pay attention.
