Feeling a little drafty today..

Sucks when you get to work, whip your change of clothes from your bag and realize you forgot your underwear..

I was going to say the same thing!

I've forgotten underwear and socks. Not the end of the world, I'll live, but it does suck.

I once forgot a shirt. I work downtown so there are lots of stores around, but nothing is open until 10:00. I sat at my desk in my jersey for two hours, then put on my jacket, went out and bought a shirt.

I usually wear jeans at work, and I can get more than one day out of a pair, so I leave them in my locker at work. I've started bringing in a clean pair, then taking home the dirty pair that afternoon, so if I forget I still have the old pair to wear. If I ever do take the old pair home first, I don't take them out of my backpack until I put a clean pair in.

I'm going to start commuting by bike instead of motor vehicle on Monday. In the land of rain, your feet get wet pretty often. So today I brought in a dry pair of shoes to leave under my desk, and a bag full of socks to stash in a drawer. I'm not a morning person, and won't rely on myself to remember this stuff right after I roll out of bed, so to avoid a day of suckage, I want to keep spares at work.

Of course, if you don't expect to forget your undies, there's no reason to keep some at work ... and that might be a little odd if you do. But, still, I'm sure I'll thank myself for being prepared. And you might think about keeping a spare set of clothes at work, too?

Pants stay at work. Underwear has to come fresh everyday. I feel your pain.

I just wore my padded bike shorts under my pants all day when that happened to me. Fortunately, my job doesn't require me to move from my desk much.

Going commando is nothing to be upset about. Lots of us have done it many, many times and no one is any worse off because of it. I kinda like it myself.

I once arrived at work with all my clothing.

However, when I packed my clothes, I hadn't noticed a sizeable spot on my shirt caused by bird sh*t. (When I can, I hang my wash outdoors. )

Anyway, I ended up hand washing the spot in the sink, putting it on and heading off to a meeting.

Talk about a conversation piece

I've since been more careful taking my clothes in off the line.

Have gone commando permanently for a few years now.
Once you've gone commando, you'll never go back oh no.
Now if I can only convince the girlfriend.............................
