Bikes: Cross-Check/Nexus commuter. Several others for various forms of play.

The procedure is nothing, though I'll never forget the doctor's face.

I had a lot more baggage with the two month follow up, having to go confirm that I was UNQ on the range.

Maybe. Our deal was, if kid #2 and last needed to be a C-section, they'd take care of business while they were in there. I would have happily held on to my "real man" badge if that had been the outcome. But with the vaginal delivery I man'd up and went in for the combat V. About time I took one for the team, I figured.

As I recall, it took a couple decades for the itching to subside.

That's about the only thing I remember, no sling no tape.

I got rear-ended by a car on my bike going to work that morning. Went to work for a bit, then to family doc to deal w/ car injuries, then on to get snipped. He gave me a week's instead of a weekend's worth of happy pills when I told him the story of my day. I can't remember if I had specific plans for getting home but getting the bike mangled that morning certainly ruled that possibility out (just as well no doubt). I stayed off the bike until I got a new wheel for it, a week later I guess.

No difference whatsoever, in either how it feels or, uh, quantity. Sperm makes up an infinitesimal amount of the quantity, so eliminating it makes no significant difference. This is all covered in any discussion of the matter I've seen.

No one is saying it's a non-issue, we're saying the physical consequences are inconsequential. It is a big decision, chosing to have kids is a big decision. But if you're sure you don't want to have kids but aren't willing to get a vasectomy you're relying on someone else to make that decision for you should she become pregnant.
So you make a big decision, there are others.

Personally, I think bicycle commuters would be doing the world a favor if they reproduced as prolificly as possible. Anyway, that's my goal.

Good luck.
If you're in the .01% that experiences excessive inflammation, see the doc right away.
HINT: If you need a wheelbarrow to get around, chances are pretty good you have excess inflammation.

Seriously? Dude, it's two cuts about 1/4 inch long each. The tube inside that gets cut doesn't have any nerve endings to speak of.

I've been lurking. I got the no-needle no-scalpel snip. No pain during or post. I knew something was going on "down there" for a few days, but I spent a week driving to work (argh), then another week of walking to the bus (2.5 miles each way), and then I resumed cycling. No scars that I can find, either. Not that I look. (My wife can't find them.)

I was taking nothing but extra-strength Tylenol, which was kind of a bummer because I don't like mixing ibuprofen and alcohol.

Really, just a non-event. Wear tight briefs.

Here...
I got valium before mine also... It was to ensure the Dr. didn't have a nervous patient. It worked, I was good to go.
15 minutes in the Dr's office, a weekend watching movies, and no pain killers needed. I did have some nut aches for a while, but all subsided.

The Dr. invited my girlfriend of the time, now wife, to watch. We all got my balls clipped together.

The room was warm and my wife had to leave. I think she really just didn't want to watch.

Ha; the thought of crying babies is the reason I'm going in next Friday (4/30).

Funny. I figured if I rode enough it would render me sterile.

I had it done at 23 never a regret and it has never impacted my ability to perform. I probably would have been in less trouble in my life if it did

Just keep it bald. Easier to maintain.
