Back to Commuting - RunKeeper GPS Link
So i am back to commuting here in NYC again. I am happy to report with my new Mavic Aksiums so far so good.
To keep track of my improvements in speed and such i am gonna use runkeeper. Its a cool iphone app that tracks your ride and overlays it with google maps. Also shows you a cool graph of your speed vs. elevation through the hold ride. Does other cool calcs, such as colories, pace, splits etc.
Check it out..its free...

I tried runkeeper a long time ago, but didn't like it (maybe it's gotten better). Used ActiveX's GPS a while but it's got a ton of bells an whistles and getting to various features took a while (and, buggy). It's a good general purpose GPS. Now I like Cyclemeter. It's the best I've used so far, quite a treat to use. My morning commute, for all you stalkers: https://j.mp/9BDPI9

You don't stop? Or does it not include stopped time? I think most of the tools don't include stopped time by default (but can often include it via a preference). I try to count it, since time stopped at a traffic light makes me just as late as time spent going too slowly. Such are the priorities of a commuter rather than a racer, though.
