Todays ride.

I rode home from work with another guy that works in my building, he was off shift early. This guy has a 16 mile one way ride and has a big hill in the middle of his ride. Anyway it was interesting riding in a downpour and headwind with someone that has a good bit of road cycling in addition to bike commuting. I am not too comfortable at all riding on someones wheel but he gave me some good tips so we took turns blocking the wind for each other. It was fun and made the ride seem a lot shorter. I'll tell ya though it kicked my butt. I told him he was an animal and he was telling me he usually doesn't ride as fast as we were going especially in a headwind with gusts to about 25 mph. Hope we can do it again so I can gain some more experience with that sort of riding. Get this guy on a road bike and I bet he would kill me.
