Schwalbe Marathon Supremes
#26
I swapped out a pair of 25c Armadillo slicks for my first pair of Schwalbe 28c in the hard case edition.
300 miles and they ride very well. Current ertro sizing makes the size and width closer to the 25c
then my older Armadillo 28's. Some of the older macadam roads have a hard raisin texture that would
put some chatter in the slicks. Hard case has great rolling resistance and handles the raisins just fine.
No flats yet.

My Supremes, at 700X40, and 700X35 are 85 PSI tires. They spin up easily, and roll well at their max pressure of 85. I love the combo of sizes on my bike, with the larger in the rear.
That being said, the roll is remarkably improved at 90-92 PSI.
No improvement over that pressure, and I can feel the resistance at 85 ------- 90-92 is magical for my 190#, and the bikes 42#.
I love these tires so much, that I have three more waiting in the basement, vacuum packed, just because size availability is sometimes a problem.
Just sayin!!!!!!

At that, they are very slightly slower, but hard to tell. They ride super smooth at that, though.
