Was it something I said?

The other day I was cruising down a big hill doing about 40, when the light changed in front of me. I pulled onto the long staight jug handle which ends in a "Y" allowing a right or left exit onto the cross street. I was in no hurry since I knew that I would need to turn left off the jug and then right onto the same road again because I know that the other side would have the green light, but that making a right on red would still be quicker than waiting for the 2 light changes at the original light I avoided. So I'm doing about 35 on the jug when Mr $hitforbrains roars up behind me forcing me to make way. 5 Seconds later he's waiting for the light so he can go straight, into his development. (He MUST have known that the light would be red since I knew it and don't even live there.) When I slowed to make my right on red, as I passed him, I shouted. "RED light! What a SUPRISE!!!" Now I know this wasn't brilliant, but his reaction made my week. He gave me 15 seconds on the horn and some dialogue I couldn't quite decipher, but I'm sure was colorful. After I stopped laughing I wore that grin for at least a mile! I'm sure his wife was impressed by all this....

Cagers are always willing to speed up to get 10 seconds in front of the car ahead of them.

Infrontitis.

It's not the time they're thinking about, it's getting in front of whatever is in front of them.

I've been saving a remark for a situation like this:

Nice drivin', Danica!

I get it, kinda. Do a search for Danica Patrick.

But why would you compare an ugly red in the face loon to such an attractive lady? Bet she can outdrive him too.

Because a) it's a girl's name; b) it's a famous race car driver girl's name; and c) it mocks the driver for acting like it's a race.

I like to play the game of how far can I ride and pass you are every light. I only have 2 stretches on my 18 miles commute that are on roads, the first 4 miles, and last 4 miles. I can usually keep up with the same car for about 2 miles playing the traffic light game.
