Locking your bike
Hey everyone!
I've been building up my bike for commuting, and I've just started thinking of the locking options.
I have a U-lock, but I'm going to need some more stuff to secure the saddle/post, wheels, etc. I already bought some skewers that require an allen wrench to take off, so that's good!
I'm just wondering how people have been locking their bikes if they have to leave them unattended in the open for a few hours at a time.
I'm moving to boston and am quite excited to be car free!
Thanks.

I am really new to this, but what I've been doing is using my U-lock on the back tire inside the "triangle" and attaching it to the post or whatever I'm locking it to. I attach a cable that came with the U-lock to the front tire (and it goes through the U-lock). I'm not sure what you should do about the seat.

If they want it they will figure a way to get it.
My car was stolen from a secured garage.

College biker: Put it around the chainstay or seat-stay also... the tire can just be sawed in two and knocked apart in 30 seconds.
