This thread has me considering packing breakfast and lunch the night before so I can sleep in a bit more. I've got a new baby and sleep is precious. Maybe I'll leave my rack trunk in the fridge so it is grab and go.

Every morning I have bacon, egg and cheese on whole wheat flat bread, with a glass of water. Ride 17.5 miles to work. I have a yogurt and a diet coke when I get there. Snack is a banana. For lunch I go out and have whatever looks good on the menu. Afternoon snack is an apple and another diet coke.

I get up around 5:30 am, eat breakfast and ride about 10 miles/ 45 minutes to work. For breakfast, I usually just have a bowl of milk and cereal, sometimes with fruit. I eat multi-grain cereals rather than the junk food types. In winter, I sometimes have oatmeal. Rarely I will have eggs and toast but usually don't have the time for that.
I usually bring a lunch, typically a sandwich, pretzels, granola bar, banana. I keep yogurt and cheese in a refrigerator in my office at work, along with diet colas and other drinks. I carry my lunch and other gear in a large saddlebag -- either a Carradice Barley or Acorn Med/Large bag, depending on which bike I ride. I bring my lunch mainly because it saves a lot of money and there aren't many options for lunch within walking distance of my office, except for Taco Hell and Subway.
