this is the bike I was looking for

and I had a hard time finding....

Points I like:

-fenders
-hub light generator
-chain guard
-7 speed internal
-3 brakes, 2 canti + coaster

and, most importantly

Thanks man!!

But the language is not so much the problem. It's flying there and getting the bike back here ($$$). Big part of the attraction is the price, which I think is really good.

That's not a REAL Hercules! My wife and I each had old English Hercules 3-speeds several decades ago.

Not sure what you mean by REAL Hercules. No, it's not the original Hercules made in England. But it's the original Hercules from Germany, which is not related to the English company. The English Hercules was sold in the 40s.

Interesting - multiple Hercules companies in different countries with no connection. Found reference to Indian Hercules bikes, too. I'm guessing that our English bikes were made in the sixties.
