Pit-zips and riding relatively slowly. I only live a few KMs away from school, so the time I would make up in going fast would be drastically countered by the time I'd have to spend going across campus to use the showers...

While it can be 90 degrees at 7 AM in NYC, that is extremely rare. The average high in the hottest month is 84, and the low average the hottest month is 69. Around 7 AM, it is pretty close to the low. But the main thing is a non-hammering cyclist is in the same boat as the walkers/public transit users anyway.

I have to say with all the other sweaty people packed in like sardines, I've gotten fairly sweaty in a few mornings on the public transit, but for some reason I don't think about that in the same class as sweat from physical exercise. I mean I know sweat is sweat, but it never occurred to me before that public transit sweat could make me stink too. Good point, yoder.
(OT, but do you know what a yoder does? I mean a miller mills, but what do you do when you yode? I only ask because that's my wife's maiden name and I haven't been able to get an answer from her other than that it's something you do when you're amish.)

The Yoder surname comes from the name of St. Theodurus who was from what is now Switzerland and is the patron saint of Liechtenstein. The great Anabaptist theologian John Howard Yoder and others have explained how "Theodorus" naturally morphed to "Yoder" over the centuries.

Vegetarianism and a hair-dryer stashed in my desk at work. Seriously.
When I stopped eating meat, my BO became much less pronounced. I've been told that my BO smells lightly of cumin (the spice.)
And use the hairdryer to dry out your pits & crotch (in the bathroom if you don't have a lockable office.) I haven't had a single saddlesore since I started doing this
