Good job. I've been thinking of something similar attached under a rear rack for mounting a rear reflector and a tail light.

I really like that! I can see several useful applications

Nice, I have an Fenix adjustable mount that works well on the fork, but it tends to wobble when you hit bumps. Yours looks more solid.

That is a good mount - I'm actually thinking of buying one myself...

However, the DIY stuff here is superb and much cheaper.

Yeah wayy cheaper, I was lazy and just bought a 3foot section of PVC tubing which was the most expensive part (1.69) I only needed an inch

What a great idea. Thanks for sharing it with us. I'll put that one up there with the "Sondgeroth" fenders and the homemade mudflap using a stair tread and cable ties. https://mgagnon.net/velo/garde-boue.en.php

I was reading somewhere that a guy used a headset spacer and headset cap with bolt to do something similar. However you need mid fork mounting points.

Nice. Looks like just the ticket for me.

I've been using a Twofish lockblock to attach a flashlight to my head tube, but it angles the light up a bit no matter how much I fiddle with it. I can correct for most of the ~17 degrees of incline, but the last 5 degrees or so defeat me; plus, I'd rather my light angle slightly down if anything, not up (unless I'm looking for snipers in trees).

Looks good, did you put any rubber in there to keep it from swinging (hold in place) on the fork?
