Looking for a really good Mini U-Lock, any suggestions?
I recently purchased a Trek 7.2 fx and I am looking for a really good Mini U-Lock that performs exceptionally well with good reviews. I've been looking at kryptonite mini's at the moment. All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

The Kryptonite Evolution Mini is what I use on my Trek XO-1 cyclocross bike. It's kinda like you're 7.2 given the wider wheel clearance. This means if the pole you lock to is a standard meter size then you won't be able to lock your back wheel. But then again, this just motivates you to do the right thing and bring a secondary cable lock. The Evolution is a great lock. It's thicker and even a little heavier than my standard Kryptonite lock.

I'm pretty happy with my Kryptonite Evolution Mini and 9" Evolution series 4.

I have the Onguard bulldog mini 7. Not as small as a most minis and not as large as others. I can fit the mini through the bike rack, both rear chainstays, and wheel.

I use the Kryptolock mini in L.A. and still have my bike. The "U" is slightly longer than the Evolution mini, but still is small-ish. The extra length lets me lock my front wheel and frame together around most poles/racks here.

I ordered the kryptonite evolution mini 5 series off amazon. It's a little pricey but I've heard good reviews on it so far. How are the mounts for the krytonite's? I returned an on guard mini because the mount was horrible because it took so much force to remove the lock that the lock would crash into frame and smash my fingers.
