Boxer Briefs that DONT ride up the leg?

Anyone else with this problem? I recently just bought some Underarmour 9 inch Boxer briefs, and while they are a TON more comfortable, and dont ride up as much they still seem to crawl up my thigh a little bit. Is there any type/style of underwear that doesnt give you wedgies or rides up? Commando is not an option lol. The problem mainly is while cycling. Perhaps a smaller size down? Then id feel itd be too small lol.

Bikes: Yes

You could try cycling-specific shorts liners. They typically have elastic leg bands to keep the legs down, and you may come to appreciate the chamois.

Those craft briefs look pretty dandy, and at a comparable price to underarmour (bit more expensive) I was under the impression that the longer the briefs, the more they would stay put on the legs but apparently thats not really the case. Anyone own the craft briefs?

have you tried compression shorts? Much more support, but no fly, and you can wear whatever you want over them.

I think the longer ones do stay put better, at least IME. I have a few different brands of boxer briefs. The ones I like best for cycling are the Champion brand from Target. They make at least a couple different ones though, and I do prefer the longer ones.

I prefer boxers over boxer briefs and I don't have problems with them creeping up my legs on the commute. Or maybe I am just lucky.

Go to Target. Find this exact model of boxer brief in your size. I've payed far more money for more exotic sports brands. These Champions are better.

I have the cheaper Champion ones from Target. I'd like to try the ones you linked, but they're something like $12.99 each, I think.

Anything over 20 miles I plan on padded cycling shorts but for the short 5-20 mile rides I wear either compression shorts or American Eagle Boxer Briefs (the short ones), being short and snug they don't ride up and are pretty comfy.

Just my .02

I use and love the Buck Naked Boxer Briefs from Duluth Trading, https://www.duluthtrading.com/store/c...-footwear.aspx Sale going on now till the 27th. They stretch, wick and I've never had them rub me in the wrong places. I've never noticed them riding up on the leg as other boxer briefs I've tried.

I wear their briefs now when I ride, and they solve the problem of forgetting your underwear. Highly recommended.

TONS of suggestions. Thanks a bunch! I will look into the Champion brand, i wonder if UA takes back 6 pairs of used boxer briefs.

Wouldnt mind getting something cheaper, i tried the jockey sport performance they also did some riding up. The UA briefs are the most comfortable ones ive tried, but like i said wouldnt mind going cheaper. I dunno, perhaps im expecting too much from a pair of boxer briefs? I mean they dont ride up ALL the way up my crack or anything, it's just that they do ride up a bit. I dont fill them in all the way and it seems there is excess fabric around the crotch area which im assuming makes them ride up. Anyone with UA briefs care to share experience with the fit? lol

Good reccomendations!

There's surgery for that, or you could just do like a lot of the others and get a BMW.

+100 The seamless Champion brand boxer briefs from Target department stores are the absolute best boxer briefs ever. 100% seamless construction (so they don't just "prevent" chafing...they completely eradicate it), perforations in the areas that need breathability, no bulky waistband, perfect fabric content (94% nylon, 6% spandex...although polyester is a bit more hydrophobic it's also a bit too abrasive for underwear), and they're thin enough to wear under other tights. They dry off so fast that I even wear them for swimming (just take my pants off and dive right in).

I'd buy a lifetime supply if I could find them, but my local Target's don't seem to carry them anymore. Do you mind telling us the zip code of your local target? I'm looking for the ones with the seamless construction (not the ones pictured above). Please help me, the ones I have are starting to wear out and I can't ride in anything else!

Oh, but they can ride up a bit at the bottom, but that's only the last 1/2"-1" of the leg...it never rides up by the crotch. Or maybe "ride up" isn't the right term...the bottom edge of the leg just folds over itself sometimes (like a "pant cuff"), but it really only happens when I'm wearing tights over them (and you'd only be able to see the fold in tights anyway).

Errrr .... wear cycling shorts, hang them up to dry in your office during the day. Carry some boxers in your seat bag, and you'll have clean, dry undershorts to wear all day.

But some of us use long pant tights to protect from the elements. Cycling shorts are too bulky to wear underneath (because in the summer the bulk makes you too hot and in the winter the bulk can get saturated from freezing rain and give you hypothermia).

Plus, why go through the hassle of changing when you can just wear shorts which stay dry? If you spend 60 min commuting and 10 min changing then changing made you 15% slower...that's like the difference between riding a beach cruiser vs riding a ceravelo. Would you trade a $3000 ceravelo for a $150 beach cruiser? You might not care, but I personally don't like pissing away $2850 for no reason.

Sure. The Target where I shop most is this one: 1717 Olentangy River Rd. Columbus, OH 43212

I bought these boxer briefs last year though, so I'm not sure what they have now.
