commuterizing/upgrading the ride

Well I finally did it. I've been contemplating and obsessing for weeks now...and here's what I bought:
SHIMANO DEORE DISC/RHYNO LITE WHEELSET 1 @ $95.00 ea.
32 Hole, Black Rims

SRAM PC-951 9SP CHAIN '10 1 @ $17.99 ea.

SHIMANO LX M581 REAR DERAILLEUR 1 @ $39.00 ea.
Long Cage, Sgs, Not Rapid Rise

PARK FR-5 CASSETTE REMOVER 1 @ $5.99 ea.

MICHE CASSETTE SPACER 1 @ $3.25 ea.
Shimano, 9 Speed

SRAM PG 950 9 SPEED CASSETTE '11 1 @ $34.00 ea.
12-26T, 9 Speed

INNER TUBE PRESTA LONG VALVE STEM 2 @ $3.29 ea.
Long Stem 48mm, Blk, 26 X 1.75-2.1"

MICHE SHIMANO CASSETTE LOCKRING 1 @ $10.00 ea.
For 12T Top Cog

MIRRYCLE MOUNTAIN HANDLEBAR MIRROR 1 @ $14.06 ea.
Black, Left-Side Mirror,Bar End Wedge

PLANET BIKE FULL FENDERS 1 @ $24.99 ea.
Black, 26"X 1.75/2.25"

PANARACER T-SERV PROTEX ROAD TIRE 2 @ $40.00 ea.
Black, 26X1.75

I tried to order everything from one site (jenson), due to the free shipping but the lights weren't up to what I want. So I'm getting some cree supposed 1600 lumen light with handlebar mount batteries charger and blinky off of ebay. I'm putting them on an 88 Raleigh Technium. I know it's old but it's oh so comfy, and hopefully now a long lasting all weather transporter for me and my goods. Pics to follow.

I'm not sure if I need that spacer now upon reviewing the spec sheet for these cassettes. I'll give it to someone in pay it forward if I don't.

What kind of handlebars do you have on that? I like my Mirrycle mirror but it wouldn't work on my trekking bars. I don't know if it would work on drop bars.

They make one for drop bars, too. Don't know how it compares to the flat bar version, but I noticed one on the rack at the LBS when I picked up my Mirrcycle.

It's got flatbars. I believe they're stock. No way to know for sure though. I guess I should have mentioned it's The Chill. A Technium mountain bike. It's got biopace chainrings 48t 38t and used to have 28t but my dummy friend I bought it from broke it. I got the 12t-26t 9 spd cassette because I like the close spacing of the top gears, and will let me stay primarily in the smaller (38t) chainring. I do intend on installing a small chainring, as I'm aware that I will at some point appreciate having at least close to a 1 to 1 ratio. I've always intended on having a mirror. It seems like it will be a lot easier than looking over my shoulder. I've been wanting to build this thing for a while and my wife wasn't too happy, but I'm gonna have a brand new bike basically, that fits me perfectly and is not very pretty so as to avoid being stolen.

I bought 2 of these 1300 CREE T6 LED Bike Bicycle Light Flashlight Torch V2. Off Ebay.
I read someone else posting about buying the 1600 lumen one, so I bought 2 of these because I figured it would be plenty bright, plus I get 2 chargers and 2 blinkies. Maybe I'll post some pics of the brightness of my lightness. Free shipping too, but takes like half a month because it's from Hong Kong.

Oh I also bought a Topeak Master Blaster Frame pump for $17
and some clipped pedals for $17.45
$9.00 shipping. From Tree Fort Bikes.
