I used to have helmet, don't remember what model Bell it was, that the wind noise always sounded like a ghost car coming up behind me. Replaced that helmet with a Bell Metro and threw the old helmet away. Liked the Metro, mainly for all the accessories, including those was a great idea. This helmet didn't have the wind noise problem of my old helmet. But I never could get that helmet to quite fit exactly right. That model was cast just a wee little bit too short from front to back for me. I got to where I only wore it as a convenient place to mount my helmet lights, and never wore it during the day. I now have a Bell Muni. When I bought this helmet the decision came down to a toss-up between the less expensive Citi and the higher priced Muni. Fearing that the Citi would have the same fit as my old Metro, it's the same helmet, the Metro just came with more do-dads, I chose the Muni. Had to order it directly from the Bell web site to get the size I needed in the color I wanted, but it was worth it. I like this helmet very, very much. The fit is great, and theres no wind noise that sounds like a ghost car coming up from behind.

Thanks for this! That is some good information. I wasn't aware of these new helmets coming out and we are in the market for a new helmet for my girlfriend since she went down and hit her head fairly good a couple of weeks ago. Her helmet barely shows a little scuffing, and thankfully she wasn't injured, but the helmet definitely took a hard hit.

I was just going to replace it with a 50-80$ helmet that looked good like I have for myself, but I'm willing to spend the big bucks for the extra protection, especially since she has had one pretty good head injury already ( a while back).
