It's going to be tough - maybe impossible to find a front basket that will work well with that bike. Have you considered a rear basket?

I would look for one that also has legs that attach to the eyelets on the back of the bike frame, especially if you plan to carry something heavy like milk/groceries.

But I can't think of any that will work with the Denali specifically, I'm sure somebody will know though.

A seatpost rack is unlikely to be strong enough to handle a gallon of milk.
I'd take a look at WALD baskets, and get a front mounted one. I have a gigantic Wald basket on my grocery bike, and I can fit 3 sacks of groceries in there without any problems. I carried 5x total 1 gallon containers of oil and coolant 4 miles once, when I was working on my Jeep.

Well according to this video, you should have no problem fitting a rack onto the Denali:

- Good Luck, my friend!

The twist shifters on the Denali occupy the space on the bar that is used for mounting Wald front baskets.

I can think of a few work arounds, though it will require someone with moderate to good wrenching skills. Maybe a co-op is handy?

-Replacing the grip shifters with stem shifters would free up the required real estate on the bars.
-Do one of those totally Fred double bar set ups like Sheldon did.
-There's also some possiblilities using KlickFix products.

yeah front or back it don't matter to me.
fit a rear rack,, maybe a seatpost beam rack,
then mount a basket on the top of it..

so is Wally World all you have left?
did they kill off the old downtown, there, too?

it happens a lot..

The Wald rear baskets and racks are made for bicycles with traditional seat stays. You would need to find something that would work or could be adapted to the "monostay" on your denali.

It's possible you could find a U bolt that is just the right size to go around the monostay.

apparently this is made for mounting racks to bikes with monostays: https://www.amazon.com/Sunlite-Bike-R.../dp/B003MNSG8K

That might work. But I've never used one or seen one before, so I don't know how well it would work.
