Philly Commuters Here?

My wife wants to do a little riding in South Philly. I have some of the route planned out but once crossing the BF bridge, I need a little guidance.

If anyone commutes in Philly or knows south Philly well, please let me know.

thanks.

Bikes: Two wheeled ones

Chef - I've ridden the BF numerous times and commute in town (when my leg isn't broken).

Hi Chefisaac, I live and bike in Philly. Are you looking for loops/trails, or just good ways to get around the city? From the BF bridge, I'd say the easiest way to get to South Philly is via Columbus and the rivertrail, or take 2nd or 4th going south. 2nd is closer, but has a weird curve/cobblestones to it by the society hill towers. 4th is great, just further inland. Any three of those are my preferred route to south philly from the BF bridge.

I work from home most of the time, but go into the office every now and then and when I ride in, I bike from Maple Shade to 6th and Market. I'm sure you are looking to go a bit more south than that though.

Check out these maps from the Bicycle Coalition of Philly https://www.bicyclecoalition.org/resources/maps

They should give you an idea of bike friendly roads in the city.
