water-proof/repellent jacket for spring-summer

Looking for a jacket for warmer rainy days i've found a few nice articles here and there

https://www.ukclimbing.com/articles/page.php?id=4556

https://www.outdoorgearlab.com/Wind-B...Jacket-Reviews

https://www.outdoorgearlab.com/Rain-Jacket-Reviews

i got eyes on the Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer Jacket (seems that everything can be seen through it) and the patagonia houdini. Any input?

EDIT: light rainy conditions

... er, how rainy? British summer monsoons?

I got a rain cape, and it's quick to pull on over my head all in 1, hands and legs are under shelter..

summer, maybe a waxed cotton one ?

Bikes: I have 3 singlespeed/fixed gear bikes

I use a North Face fleece hoody, it's not waterproof but it keeps me warm on cool wet days during spring or fall... If it's raining on a warm summer day I just ride in my sleeveless t-shirt or a long sleeve merrino wool shirt and get soaked.
