I failed to include so many types, but I did think of including unicycle, though abandoned that option since no one will vote for it.

When putting together a poll, avoid making assumptions. If it's possible, put it as an option. You'll get better data then when unicycler #1 looks at it and says, "well, it's not a bicycle, but it has a big knobby tire, so I'll put down Mountain," and unicycler #2 says "it's not a bike, so I'll put other."
You're getting the same mixed messages with touring bikes where some would say they're a road bike, some would say they're something of a hybrid, and some will put other.

Poll won't let me select more then one option. I can tell you that both "Road" and "Recumbent" are out of the picture for me. Never got into the recumbent thing and a road bike is not suitable for most of the roads I travel and the one road bike I own only gets used for pleasure rides only on nice days on pre-scouted routes to be sure it will make it.
Most of what I use (got lots of bikes and use best for the job on any given day) would fall into commuterized MTBs, which basically means taking a stock MTB and mounting puncture resistant tires with on-road tread patterns that give less rolling resistance but can still handle the rough roads and debris plus some fenders, lights, and some cargo carrying capabilities in some form or another. Got a lot of stuff that only fits in the "Other" category though especially cargo bikes.
Didn't vote, posted instead.

Trek 7.2 FX Hybrid for me - over 10K miles in 3 years and running strong
i've settled on 35mm tires after trying 23's, 32's, and 45's
the bike is a tank, which makes me kinda slow on it, but it is always up for a ride
