9.71 is the direct way to get to work, which is what I ride to work. The ride home can be varied anything from 9.71 to 20.2 depending on how I feel and what the weather is like and what I have to do when I get home.

It seems that most are between 5 and 12 miles. I am going to start taking a longer route on the commute home. Sometimes you just need a longer bike ride.

4 miles by road to the train station each way, 7 by trail....I always take the trail unless I am in a huge hurry.

Normally 21 miles each way, but this summer it is 23.3 as my normal Mississippi river crossing is closed for repairs.

12 mi to work, 16-17 home (depending on the route I take). I've yet to commute both legs in one day though because the wife works across the street from me and drives. So, I throw the bike on the rack and ride with her for one of the legs. I'm working up my endurance to be able to do both in one day someday.
