Newbie needs help finding the right bike.
Hello Everyone,
I am brand new to this forum and to bicycling. I would like to get a bike for a 6 mile in city commute/exercise/maybe ride some races in the future. I have been looking at the Trek Crossrip and the All City Space Horse, but really don't know what I need. Any suggestions?

Go ride some and get a feel. there is no substitute for it. You can circle around specs and ideas all day long, but you gotta get a feel for geometry in the right size. Chances are you'll think the weight on your wrists is great in the parking lot, but at the end of six miles, you'll feel like your bent over flat.
