The short answer is, PVC endcaps.
When I get to a computer, I'll throw up some pics. |

I started a new thread here. That way I didn't derail this one too much.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/...pso1klumzn.jpg Also, I've got to ask about your saddle bag - I know it's an Arundel Uno - I ordered one for myself for my commuter but when I got it I was surprised just how freakin small it is. Yours looks bigger. I could barely fit a 700x28 tube as compressed as I could get it, and maybe a tire lever - to say nothing about a CO2 inflator and 1 16gm cartridge. And the velcro strap was way too short in the sense that it basically had to be flat with almost nothing in it in order to have the velcro actually catch. Yours looks taller from top to bottom, i swear mine is like an inch. Just curious of it's measurements and what you fit into it. And I wonder if I got a bum one (ordered 3rd party on Amazon). |

What is it? Looks good. Nice work making the fenders pretty even all around.

Yeah I have a Dual - my wife got it a while ago but didn't like it so I finally just put it on my commuter too, where I was originally going to put the Uno! Hard to see it but it's there :

I don't get it about the chainguard and drop bars, but that's the great thing about bike commuting. Room for different opinions and styles.
"Call the Midwife" is a period drama that sports some old english bicycles that kind of looked like yours save they had a more vintage handlebar. |

It was a compliment, :).
