Synapse with disc brakes

Does anyone know how wide of tire the C-dale Synapse with disc brakes will accept? Search did not provide a definative answer. LBS does not have them in stock. Can probably find the answer in a couple of days but, just wondered if anyone knew offhand.

Maybe should have posted this in the roadies forum? If the mods think it appropriate, please move it.

Got a response from Cannondale today. All they would commit to is 25mm. That's what comes on the bike. Cited safety reasons for not going wider. That may be the limit, but I can't help doubt it. Here's a link to the bike I'm referring to. Does anyone's LBS have one in stock that could be measured?
