8 miles each way, Florida. That's the daylight-limited route. During times of the year when the sun is up early, it's 15-20 miles.

Mine is similar, except that I usually drive the seven miles to and from the home side station (train departs 5:15 AM).

Ride from station to work=4.5 miles, Tustin/Irvine CA
Ride from work to station 1=4.5 miles.
#2 =9.5 miles, Irvine.
#3 = 19 miles, Irvine/Laguna Niguel
#4 = 30 miles/Irvine//Dana Point/San Clemente
#5 (Ridden summer solstice for max daylight, and day before Xmas break due to getting off early) 55 miles Irvine///San Onofre/Camp Pendleton/Oceanside.

I hope to do this in the next few years. There are several nice condos within a couple of miles of my work place, lots of nice restaurants and shops, and a great grocery store. In about two years, we'll be in a position to sell our current home and buy closer to work. I figure I can always make the ride longer when I feel like it. But for now, I'm enjoying my daily 12 mile r/t.

5.2 miles on the way there but usually the trip home is longer due to running errands. Portland, OR.

I feel like I don't do enough miles now.

Varies about depending on the routes. I recently moved to a different part of Seattle and it is now usually 9.6 miles on my way in a varies between 8.5 to 11 miles depending on which way I go home, assuming I don't decide to take a nice long ride on the way home, which I've been doing pretty regularly.

tl:dr = ~10 miles one way, Seattle, WA.

25km in, 22km out (15.5/13.8mi) (route in avoids a bad intersection at a 3km cost)

Sudbury, Ontario, Canada

BTW, that's my summer "get-some-fitness-in" route, my winter route is the shortest route because of snow and bad roads so is just 4km (2.5mi)
