I put all my rides on Strava. The commuter group is fun to follow on there too.

I am such a data fiend; never ride without my Garmin Edge 510, and ALMOST never ride without the heart rate monitor. This morning I went out to ride to work, and my GPS battery was dead... it turned on but said "Battery Low: 0%". I could have ridden with the Strava app on my iPhone, but I decided to go a different route... rigged up my Mophie Juicepack Powerstation with a few zip ties and off I went!

I just got this from REI: TopeakŪ Cycling Accessories ? Products - RideCase, works with iPhone 5/5s, Black

Added a significant amount of fun to my rides and gives me access to my maps on my phone. At $50 it was a bit pricey, but it's a pretty good solution for those of us who don't have a Garmin, but like tracking.

Two questions about that Garmin 200 though: 1) Does it have navigation on it? I'd like to be able to pop in an address of something cross town and then just be told where to turn, haha. 2) Can I sync it with a Strava account?

I don't use Strava so I am unsure - I would check the Strava website to see compatibility or maybe Garmin's site. MapMyRide does imports from all kinds of different devices for free, so all I did was plug it in and boom, downloading to the site.

It doesn't have navigation. Which is why it's so cheap and so super small. It tracks your rides with all the usually stats, but does not show maps or allow navigation. So if you're not looking for those features, it's a great little product. If you need turn by turn options, you have to go more expensive.

You can sync it with Strava but it doesn't have navigation. I believe you can load a predetermined route on it but it's more of a "breadcrumb" kind of navigation.
