I don't signal unless my safety dictates it. I just go. If I do signal, it's right turn-right hand, left turn-left hand. What could be clearer? The last thing I want to do is signal to a car behind or in front I'm turning left (by using my left arm to signal a right turn) when I'm actually turning right. That's an invitation to get run over.

I do.... but that's only when I drive my grandfather's 1937 Chrysler Royal. It didn't come with turn signals.

right turn = right arm out
left turn = left arm out

Law in Oregon, 100 feet continuous. I may have been in violation once or twice.
