I often get asked "how far is your commute". When I answer 30+ mi RT, I usually get a blank stare. I think it is because they had something like 1-2 mi in mind, it never occurred to them that someone would commute that far on a bike and I can see they have a little difficulty digesting it. Anyhow I get a kick out of that.
That's assuming I don't tack on extra miles for funsies though.
