Cyclocross in Jeopardy in Ottawa!

The City of Ottawa recently revoked our permits in the middle of a successful season. Other places are letting us run races it appears, but everything is up in the air and next year is in jeopardy.

Here's some info if anyone's interested:

I compiled some contact info for the outgoing and incoming councillors for any involved parties who wish to contact them and express their concern.

Mayor
Outgoing: Larry O'Brian [email protected]
Incoming: Jim Watson [email protected]

Capital Ward Councilor (my ward)
Outgoing: Clive Doucet [email protected]
Incoming: DAVID CHERNUSHENKO [email protected]

Kanata South Councilor (where the Kanata race was)
Outgoing: Peggy Feltmate [email protected]
Incoming: Allan Hubley [email protected]

Some useful info is at http://www.cyclocross.org/ as well.

Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.

This is such a ridiculous situation. I worked for the city of ottawa briefly when I was in college and they are the most self-important bunch of twits you never want to meet.
