Battery tray rack mounting
I bought a used kitted KHS with the battery tray mounted not-too-securely to the rear rack with zip-ties. What are you folks using to get these things properly secured to the rack?

On my "Little Demon" (1000w/52V) I use toe straps (need to be old to know what I'm talking about; look up if interested). Great for road, but probably not for rough terrain. Also, I mount it on the front rack since it's low and balances the weight of the motor somewhat, with a slab of packing foam underneath for cushioning.

Zipties come in different quality levels. I would not use bargain store or Walmart ties, but if you source some high quality ones (think aviation applications) you can get them that are crazy strong. I hope you never need the gamma ray resistant ones but the UV stabilized might make sense : )
Nelco makes some great ones.. HERE
