Bikes: Specialized, Trek, Diamondback, Schwinn, Peugeot

Looked good enough to buy if I needed a BMX bike.

I noticed in the faq that they might be considering a larger frame size. i'm 5'11 and while i'm not a BMX rider, it might be good for around the neighborhood rides. 35 lbs is much better than the 63 lbs on the other bike i'm considering.. the rad mini fattie.

If they go 24", or 26" wheeled BMX I'd consider it. They have some really fantastic adult sized BMX bikes in those wheel sizes,...

I messaged the guys and asked about the larger frame size option, and if I hear back i'll post it here. 8 days left on the sale price. it's being made with these folks, and the link is for one their bikes that has me interested, but i'm not sure about the front hub motor drive (this is all new to me) https://www.prodecotech.com/electric-bikes/genesis-v3/ . they have this one with more powerful rear drive for a few bucks more and a better front fork https://www.prodecotech.com/electric...antom-x2-v4-5/

Bikes: DIY

Make sure that you ride a rear motor, rear battery rack before you buy (especially if the motor is direct drive); I tried several and the weight distribution is terrible IMO.

Bikes: 2011 Felt Z85 (road/commuter), 2006 Marin Pine Mountain (utility/commuter E-bike), 1995 KHS Alite 1000 (gravel grinder)

e-bikes aside... disc brakes on BMX? That's just... odd.

Bikes: GT Transeo & a half dozen ebike conversions.

Very nice website, but why use crowd funding if already affiliated with Prodeco, who I would consider as a quality manufacturer? Some of us will never ever trust a CF site. Maybe our loss, but we won't get fooled.

Yeah, it's a little strange. I do think it's a necessity though, because of the speed and power. I just want bigger wheels.

Bikes: This list got too long: several ‘bents, an urban utility e-bike, and a dahon D7 that my daughter has absconded with.

It will probably surprise some to hear me say it; but BMX is a pretty specialized sport, I just don't see it as the place for assist.

It's very nicely integrated, can barely even tell it's an electric BMX. I would be a little worried about the battery though, 25.9V and 8.7 Ah is pretty small.
