Bought second hand ebike
HOW DO I RECONNECT THE GOVERNER ON AN EMMO GT80. My sister bought it second hand does it connect directly in the controller can a simple connection be seperated that I can easily reconnect no clue how or where they are however I do have a little better than average skill. My sister is not the best driver and I would like this to conform to the law so she isn't doing 47klm an hour her reaction time ia not good enough and afraid she will hurt herself does not have funds to get bike repaired herself nor do I however I have a truck load of hand tools and skills

The EMMO GT80 is a street legal scooter that would require registration and license in my State. This is not the right forum for such things. Find something with crank and pedals on it and we can help.

You know, it's better that your sister learn how to ride that Emmo in traffic before you fool around with its electrics..
Speed governors on sophisticated European ebikes are built into the firmware and hardware, and designed not to be easily defeated buy owners as there are strict manufacturing laws in Europe. . Speed restrictors on inexpensive ebikes from China are usually unsophisticated, either by means of a on/off circuit implemented by a jumper wire or behind a set-up screen in the LCD display.
If you google EMMO GT80 speed restrictor, you'll find info, but only you can tell if it's relevant. I'm pretty sure your sister's scooter uses the same kind of controller used by inexpensive ebikes. You're on your own though when you start playing with loose wires in that scooter.
